Clic was created by young winemaker Enrico Coser , son of Fabio Coser, from RONCO DEI TASSI, with the objective of introducing a new generation of wine drinkers to the pleasures of the grapes and wines of Friuli.  The name Clic, in Friulian dialect, refers to a “small glass of wine to be shared with friends” – precisely the aim of this lineup of wines.  The Clic wines represent a great value and focus on drinkability, bottled with a screw-cap closure and sporting decidedly modern packaging.

Fruit for the Clic wines is sourced from estate vineyards and neighboring growers int the Collio and Isonzo areas.  The official Collio wine-growing zone encompasses a banana-shaped area among the hills around Gorizio, in the far north-eastern corner of Italy on the border with Slovenia. 

Friuli Isonzo is located in the far southeastern part of Friuli, on a plain of alluvial soils along the Isonzo river just south of Collio, hence its name. Both the Collio and Isonzo benefit from an excellent diurnal temperature variation (given the proximity to the Adriatic Sea providing warm daytime winds and cool night-time breezes from the mountains to the north) combined with nutrient-rich soils, creating an ideal environment for growing vines and producing unique, high-quality wines.

Bianco Venezia Giulia IGT

The Clic Bianco is a blend of the local Friuliano with two international white grapes, Chardonnay and Riesling, each variety providing its own unique contribution to the wine. The Chardonnay undergoes partial malolactic fermentation, adding body and richness, while the Friulano contributes typical fruity notes of pear and almond and zesty acidity. The Riesling lifts the wine’s aromatics and offers an inviting freshness on the palate.
