Italian Wine Report (94)- "Named for the eponymous vineyard, this is a blend of 40% Pinot Bianco, 40% Friulano and 20% Malvasia Istriana. Bright, medium-intense yellow; aromas of golden apple, wet stone and goldenrod tea. Medium-full with excellent concentration, this offers beautiful texture, excellent persistence and wonderful Collio typicity. The finish offers notes of basil and pea. Pair with rich seafood or and enjoy over the next 5-7 years."
Wine Advocate (93)- "This is the top-shelf white wine from Ronco dei Tassi. The 2018 Collio Bianco Fosarin is a blend of Pinot Bianco, Friulano and Malvasia, released in numbered bottles. Exactly 13,234 bottles and 300 magnums were made, and I tasted bottle number 1,706. There are immediate notes of peach, melon and minty pear. As the wine opens in the glass, it begins to show some nutty aromas and pastry cream. This is a textbook wine from Friuli that gives us an authentic taste of the region's celebrated blended whites. Serve it slightly below room temperature with a platter of local cheeses. I very much enjoyed the Fosarin."
James Suckling (92)- "Chamomile, dried pineapple, waxed lemon and a hint of green olive on the nose. It’s medium-to full-bodied with tangy acidity and a layered, saline finish. Drink or hold."
