James Suckling (93)- "This is rich and floral with ripe peaches and apples and a zesty, honeyed fragrance to it. Full and layered with creamy texture. A little salty and mineral with some richness and depth to the fruit. It has an oily texture but keeps freshness and tension. Drink or hold. "
Italian Wine Report (94)- "Named for the eponymous vineyard, this is a blend of 40% Pinot Bianco, 40% Friulano and 20% Malvasia Istriana. Bright, medium-intense yellow; aromas of golden apple, wet stone and goldenrod tea. Medium-full with excellent concentration, this offers beautiful texture, excellent persistence and wonderful Collio typicity. The finish offers notes of basil and pea. Pair with rich seafood or and enjoy over the next 5-7 years."
International Wine Review (93)- "This is an excellent example of Collio Bianco, which is typically a selected blend of grape varieties. It shows outstanding balance–concentrated flavors of both orchard fruit and savory herbs, good freshness, a firm backbone, and a full, lightly creamy mouth feel. A blend of 40% Tocai Friulano, 20% Malvasia Istriana, 40% Pinot Bianco from the 180m high Fosarin vineyard of 50-year-old vines in sandy marl soils. Pinot Bianco aged in second-hand Allier barriques for approx. 6 months, Malvasia and Friulano aged in stainless steel tanks for 6 months."
