BiancaVigna Prosecco Superiore Extra Brut Conegliano Valdobbiadene Rive di Soligo DOCG

“Rive” in the local dialect refers to the steep slopes of the Conegliano/Valdobiaddene hills. In fact, BiancaVigna’s Rive di Soligo vineyard is positioned 380 meters (1247 feet) a.s.l. with a 70% slope, making vineyard work particularly laborious. The result, however, is a remarkable “Cru” Prosecco with a bright straw-green color and an inviting nose where minerals and mint are complemented by green apple and white peach. The palate is rich and creamy, with notes of peach and apricot and multilayered, refined floral notes. This is a very fine and elegant wine.

BiancaVigna Prosecco Superiore Extra Brut Conegliano Valdobbiadene Rive di Soligo DOCG 2019

Vinous Media (91)- "The 2019 Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Brut Rive di Soligo takes some time to blow off its notes of white smoke and dried field grass to reveal deeper tones of dried apricot and savory spice. It’s a silky and soothing effort that comes across as quite feminine, with hints of fresh mint and chamomile before blossoming further with ripe orchard fruits. Saline-minerality contrasts a pretty inner sweetness throughout the long finale. While a bit understated, this is so easy to like and overflowing with charm."

On the dry, foaming palate, bright acidity lifts creamy white peach, crunchy green apple and a hint of honeydew melon before a white-almond close. A silky perlage lends elegance."
