Vinous Media (91)- "The 2017 Roero Arneis Vigna Renesio presents a distinctly powerful, robust expression of Arneis. Deep and phenolic in feel, the Renesio is a gorgeous wine for the dinner table. There are plenty of varietal orchard fruit and floral notes, but the Renesio is really a wine of density more than anything else."
Falstaff Magazine (93)- "Rich, bright ruby red with a delicately brightening, rust-red edge. Appealing nose, of ripe strawberries and raspberries, lush forest fruits are underlaid with a noble spicy tone. On the palate with tightly woven tannins, juicy, spreads out nicely, extremely polished with a delicately salty finish."
International Wine Review (93)- "Offering an enticing floral nose of rose petals and red cherries, the Renesio is our favorite of the Malvira Roeros. It's more feminine and refined than the Mombeltramo. It's very fresh and less earthy on the palate with lovely pure, concentrate red cherry and berry flavors, both fresh and dried. Aged 24 months in French oak. The Renesio vineyard is 300 meters in altitude and stretches about 4.5 hectares. The soil is made of calcareous clay, and the vineyard is located in Canale with a south facing exposition. "
