Wine Advocate (91)- "Of these various wines from Malvirà, the 2015 Roero Riserva Trinità is certainly the most complete and integrated. This wine opens to a pretty garnet hue with faded amber highlights. The bouquet is smooth and soft, without the astringent and bitter notes we found in the other wines among these new releases. You can't escape those Nebbiolo tannins, but the wine shows a textured, tightly knit overall approach that works."
International Wine Review (91)- "Light, earthy notes show on the nose of this lighter bodied Nebbiolo. It offers a soft attack with medium concentration of fruit on the palate and finishes with firm tannins. Needs a little more time in bottle to show its best. Aged 24 months in French oak. The soil of this 14 ha vineyard is made of layers of calcareous clay and sand. The exposition of the vineyard is south and south-west. The Nebbiolo vines are planted on top of the hill while Arneis is planted more towards the bottom. "
James Suckling (91)- "Bright florals such as crushed roses and dried herbs with some gentle spices, too. The tannins are soft and the flavors run pretty ripe, with cherries and plum that lead to a nutty, ripe-tannin finish."
