Wine Advocate (92)- "The 2016 Roero Riserva Trinità is a lean-bodied wine with light ruby and garnet highlights. The wine shows some pretty fruit tones of cassis and sour cherry, as well as some bitter almond. This Riserva is lean-bodied and easy, with enough structure and acidity to pair with a cheesy lasagna or casserole."
Vinous Media (90)- "The 2016 Roero Riserva Trinità is wonderfully deep, layered and expressive. Macerated dark cherry, menthol, game, spice, pine, dried flowers and incense build in a virile, imposing Roero loaded with character. I would give the 2016 a year or two in bottle to soften."
Falstaff Magazine (92)- "Luminous, brilliant ruby red with a gently lightening rust-red edge. Full and profound nose, delicate of rum pot and ripe plums, subtle pepper note, multi-layered. Spreads powerfully on the palate, tightly woven tannins, grippy and present, well integrated, stays on the palate for a long time, powerful in the finish."
