70% Montepulciano and 30% Sangiovese from 30-year-old vines planted on a southern exposure in clay soil at an elevation of 860 ft. Fermented in stainless steel and aged for 6 months. These two age-old Italian grape varieties grow ideally in the region of March (opposite Tuscany, on the Adriatic coast) with its cold winters and warm summers.
