La Spinetta's 2014 Barolo Vigneto Garretti is an attractive, soft Barolo to drink now and over the next few years. Sweet red cherry, tobacco, lavender and dried rose petal lead into the silky, midweight finish. This light to medium-bodied Barolo reflects the personality of the vintage and is in an especially floral, delicate style for La Spinetta. All things considered, the Vigna Garretti is nicely done.
