The 2017 Dolcetto d'Alba opens to soft richness and fruity succulence, with dried blackberry aromas followed by candied cherry and prune. You really taste that 2017 sunshine in the ripeness of the fruit. Thankfully, the wine is not too heavy and remains a great pairing option for pasta or lasagna.
