"(a 65/35 blend of nebbiolo and barbera, aged in 50% new and 50% once-used barriques): Medium dark red. Currant, blueberry, flowers and spicy oak on the perfumed nose. Then juicy and spicy in the mouth, with the nebbiolo element (and the Taransaud barrels!) dominating today. This medium-bodied wine is a bit less vibrant at this stage than some recent vintages, but finishes with very good structure. I'd wait at least two or three years before pulling the cork.
