Wine Details

Ciacci Piccolomini Toscana Rosso IGT

This red blend is an ideal daily wine, a full-bodied Sangiovese softened by the addition of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. Fruity and lightly herbal with perfumes of flowers leather and a dusty hint of earth and spice. This a wine ready to drink now, and also happens to be a great value.

Ciacci Piccolomini Toscana Rosso IGT 2021

Vinous Media (89)- "The 2021 Rosso blends Sangiovese with a 15% mix of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. It’s a brilliant ruby color in the glass. An earthy blend of dried strawberries, dusty rose and worn leather forms its bouquet. This is softly textured yet juicy in style; crisp red fruits and sweet spice traces please the senses. A subtle tug of tannin lingers as the 2021 tapers off with a tart tug of sour berries and blood orange."

Ciacci Piccolomini Toscana Rosso IGT 2018

Decanter (90)- "Minty nose displaying aromas of cassis, wild berries, crushed black pepper and toasty notes. Sappy and nicely-balanced, harmonious finish."
